“I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that.”

So speaks Dave Grohl of the mission statement made manifest in Foo Fighters’ ninth epic, the aptly titled Concrete and Gold, due out September 15 worldwide on Roswell/RCA Records and available for preorder now.

Foo Fighters fans in the U.S. will have a chance to experience the sonic majesty of songs from Concrete and Gold in their full live glory during a full-scale October through December U.S. headline tour including a stop at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN October 23. Public on sales for all date is June 29 at 10am CT. For information on how to sign up for pre-sale access visit
