About Shane Gillis
Shane Gillis is an actor, writer and comedian from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. In 2021, Gillis released his triumphant self-funded debut Shane Gillis: Live in Austin, a breakthrough hit with over 40 million views. In 2023, he released his follow-up Netflix special, Beautiful Dogs. The critically acclaimed and fan-favorite special reached the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and spent two weeks in the US Top 10 list. Beautiful Dogs was produced by All Things Comedy and Gillis’ own production company, Dad Sick Productions, which he runs with longtime comedy partner and fellow Philadelphia local John McKeever. Alongside McKeever, Shane released season two of his beloved scripted series Tires in 2025. Season two debuted in the Top Ten and was celebrated by reviewers. The show has been renewed for season three with an expected release in 2026. Gillis is also co-creator and star of the hugely popular web series Gilly & Keeves. The sketch series, premiering in 2020, spawned an acclaimed feature-length special in 2022. He will next be seen alongside Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage in David O. Russell’s Madden, and recently appeared with Al Pacino and Vince Vaughn in Nic Pizzolatto’s Easy’s Waltz, which premiered at TIFF in September 2025.
Gillis co-hosts the comedy podcast Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast with comedian Matt McCusker. The show is the number one Patreon podcast in the world and has consistently ranked in the Top 15 on Spotify’s US Comedy Charts. In 2025, the duo announced a major partnership with Spotify to bring video episodes to the platform, marking an exciting new chapter for their devoted audience. Gillis is one of the industry’s leading touring comics, currently wrapping a 45+-city international tour that has shattered records around the world. The run set all-time ticket records at six arenas, including Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, and achieved historic sellouts at thirteen more, each marking the venue’s largest comedy show ever.
In addition to this unprecedented momentum, Gillis recently sold out three nights at Madison Square Garden, set for January 2026 and is set to headline Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, in July 2026, a 60,000+ seat homecoming that will stand as the biggest headline show of his career. Beyond stand-up, Gillis continues to grow his presence in major commercial campaigns. He starred in Bud Light’s blockbuster 2025 Super Bowl ad alongside Post Malone and Peyton Manning–one of the brand’s most successful ads to date, ranking #7 on USA Today’s AdMeter and the most mentioned Super Bowl campaign in Anheuser-Busch history. He also appeared in a widely praised digital spot for Under Armour, rallying Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish.

If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions and processes apply:
- Backpacks of any size are considered prohibited items and are NOT allowed into the arena.
- Bags that measure larger than 12”x12”x6” are prohibited and are NOT allowed into the arena.
- Bags that measure between 6”x4”x1.5” and 12”x 12”x6” (including clear bags and Nashville Locker Room bags) are subject to x-ray screening and visual inspection.
- Bags that measure smaller than 6” x 4” x 1.5” may proceed through express screening lanes for visual inspection.
- Diaper bags and bags needed for medical reasons are allowed but will be subject to x-ray screening.
- We kindly ask that you reach out to Bridgestone Arena Customer Service (accessibilityservices@powersmgmt.com) 24 hours prior to your event if you want to arrange for additional accommodations before arrival.
Reminder: Patrons with prohibited items will not be permitted entry to the arena. Bridgestone Arena does not provide on-site storage. Guests are asked to plan accordingly and allow for extra time when arriving at Bridgestone Arena.
