Important COVID Entrance Protocol

Do I need proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend the 55th Annual CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena?

Yes, all ticketed audience members attending the 2021 CMA Awards will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or show a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered within 72 hours prior to the event (i) by a healthcare professional, or (ii) with a sample collected at home that is sent to a medical laboratory for processing with a link to the results that guests can print from a medical/lab based platform. The negative COVID-19 test results must include the guest’s name and the date of the test.

Will Face Masks be required for this event?

Yes, all ticketed audience members must wear an appropriate face covering for the duration of the event unless actively eating or drinking.

Will at home COVID-19 tests be accepted?

At home COVID-19 tests will be accepted if the test is one for which the sample collected at home is sent to a medical laboratory for processing with a link to the results that guests can print from a medical/lab based platform. The negative COVID-19 test results must include the guest’s name and the date of the test.

How do I show proof of my vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test result?

Bridgestone Arena & CMA have partnered with CLEAR Health Pass to provide easy proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test for faster entry. See below for steps to complete CLEAR enrollment, which is the most efficient system for entering Bridgestone Arena for any event.

Enroll and complete your Health Pass before arriving at Bridgestone Arena.

Here’s how:
1) Download the CLEAR app and tap the white Health Pass tile
2) Select ‘Events’ and CMA Awards
3) Easily enroll or verify your identity with a quick selfie
4) Follow the prompts to verify your proof of vaccination or negative test
5) Before you arrive at Bridgestone Arena, reopen the Health Pass tile and open your green Health Pass. All Bridgestone Arena entrances, will accept the CLEAR Health Pass for venue access. Utilize the Verified Entrance Lanes at the Main Entrance (Fifth Ave & Broadway) or SoBro Entrance (Fifth Ave & Demonbreun) for expedited access.

What does full vaccination mean?

As advised by the CDC, full vaccination means at least 14 days have passed after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (or other COVID-19 vaccinations recognized by WHO) or at least 14 days have passed after your single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.

What vaccines will be accepted?

Bridgestone Arena will accept the Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson vaccine or other COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

What if I lost my vaccine card?

You should contact your doctor, clinic, pharmacy or other location where you were vaccinated. Tennessee residents may also request a replacement vaccine card HERE.

What kind of tests are accepted?

We will accept negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered within 72 hours prior to the event (i) by a healthcare professional, or (ii) with a sample collected at home that is sent to a medical laboratory for processing with a link to the results that guests can print from a medical/lab based platform. The negative COVID-19 test results must include the guest’s name and the date of the test.

CLEAR Health Pass

Do I need to utilize the CLEAR app, or can I have my vaccine card/negative test checked at the door?

We strongly recommend using the CLEAR app, but there will be onsite alternate screening where we will be checking proof of vaccination / negative tests at all entrances for the time being. Please look for Health & Safety Checkpoint signage at all entrances to present a form of government-issued identification (for those 18 and older) and a printed or digital proof of vaccination or negative test.

The below will be accepted onsite at designated Health & Safety Checkpoints at all Bridgestone Arena entrances:

  • An original, printed or digital copy of your vaccination card as proof of COVID-19 immunization.
  •  A printed or digital copy showing proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered within 72 hours prior to the event (i) by a healthcare professional, or (ii) with a sample collected at home that is sent to a medical laboratory for processing with a link to the results that guests can print from a medical/lab based platform. The negative COVID-19 test results must include the guest’s name and the date of the test.

How do I use the CLEAR app if I was vaccinated abroad?

People who have received vaccines not accepted through CLEAR (i.e. any vaccine other than Pfizer, Moderna or J&J), will be required to go through the alternate screening process available at Bridgestone Arena. You will be required to present your vaccination card (original paper or photo) and government issued identification (for those 18 and older). Please look for Health & Safety Checkpoint signage at all entrances.

With the green health pass, it expires in 10 hours. Am I able to register again and get another pass on the day of my event?

Vaccine Verification: guests who have uploaded proof of vaccination can simply log back into the CLEAR Health Pass app and an updated digital pass will be issued.

Negative Test Verification: will expire after the conclusion of the event. A new test will need to be uploaded and verified for all future events.
